My first REAL Kimono
After seeing this in person, I had to make a SL version.
It's most exquisite and I hope you like it just as much.
Both the kimono and obi I have irl (in real life).

The one and only SCULPTY okobo. Modeled after the real okobo shape.
Burt helped me with the sculpting and I hid a cute pic in the knot.

all I ever saw was pink... I wanted a slightly different sakura kimono...

Bright floral colors of summer shine through in this kimono.
I love the complimenting colors in this design as it catches the eye.

Yellow to match the rape flowers of the season. Those flowers are used in the
kanzashi (hair ornaments) for that month. It is a modern design that I think
works well with the floral background.

The awakening of spring.. green and golden rays of sun bathing the earth.
My second kimono.

and then I needed hair in the traditional style of Wareshinobu...
I made this in black and also in auburn (my real life color).

This was the first kimono and item that I put up for sale in my shop. Hokusai is one of my favorite Japanese artists and wanted to dedicate at least one kimono to him. It came out pretty well considering it was my first.
